We ship all orders by United Parcel Service (UPS) unless otherwise requested. Orders may be shipped via Federal Express upon request. Items may also be shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS), but items shipped via USPS are non-traceable if lost, thus delivery cannot be guaranteed.

Shipping charges for orders weighing less than 20 pounds are based on the following shipping matrix. You will be notified of any additional shipping charges that may apply to your order if it weighs more than 20 pounds.

United Parcel Service next day deliveries to the continental United States are delivered by 10:30 AM in the morning in your local time zone. Please refer to the U.S. map below to determine UPS ground service time.

Service Map colors may vary due to differences in hardware and software. For the scheduled days in transit for ground packages shipped within the 50 states and Puerto Rico, please use the Time-in-Transit calculator. Delivery method and carrier of choice is at the discretion of C.O.P.S. Inc. and / or our manufacturers.

There is a flat $6 handling fee for all orders, no matter how large or how small the order is.

Make certain that you supply your correct and complete shipping address, including suite numbers, correct zip codes, etc. UPS bills $5 (ground) or $7.50 (air) for any address correction, including if you request delivery to an address other than you specified on your order. If this occurs, you will be billed for the UPS fee incurred plus a $3 billing fee and agree to pay upon notification.

Most orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS). Do not use P.O. box addresses for UPS delivery.

Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico orders must add a shipping fee of $10 (in addition to the standard shipping/handling fee). Items indicated as "Not shippable by Air" are not available to these addresses.

APO, FPO, and U.S. territories orders are shipped via Priority Mail, and must add a fee of $4 (in addition to the standard shipping/handling fee). Items indicated as "Not shippable by Air" are not available to these addresses.

Next Day Air, 2^nd Day Air, and 3^rd Day Air UPS delivery is available at additional cost. Rates are dependent upon weight, size, and destination – call for price quote. "Day" refers to business day, not necessarily calendar day. Certain items cannot be shipped by Air, as indicated throughout the catalog.

Delivery Schedules For Special Items
The majority of our merchandise is in stock at our fulfillment center for fast delivery. We will notify you immediately of any items that are backordered or unavailable. If an item is unavailable for any reasons through our distributors, manufacturers, or our fullfilment center, we will make every effort to locate it through a different source. All backordered items will be shipped as soon as become available. You should expect an extended delivery date if the merchandise you ordered:

is shipped directly from manufacturer (i.e. chemical agents)
requires personalization (i.e. badges, name bars or plates)
is of an irregular size or color that is not kept in stock

We are unable to ship to post office (PO) boxes. All of our carriers require that we ship to a physical street address. Failure to provide a proper street address may delay shipment and delivery of your order. Exceptions to Shipping Charges Occasionally some orders, because of size, weight, shape or hazardous classification may need additional shipping charges. On the items listed below, bypass the standard shipping charges (listed above) and add the following: Lightbars $20.00. Hazardous Material (teargas, fusees, cleaning fluids, etc.) call for pricing.

Certain products in this catalog are not available for sale to the general public. These items have stock numbers which end with an "X". Eligibility to purchase restricted sale products varies, and is specified in each respective product description. Sufficient documentation must be submitted with order. (Purchase Orders from governmental agencies are exempt.) Please, do not waste your time or ours by ordering an item for which you are not eligible to order.

We use the following definition for a Law Enforcement Officer: A sworn commissioned police officer with power of arrest employed by a governmental agency. Submit either a photocopy of law enforcement identification or letter from department confirming status. Subject to verification.
